this shoe fitted well except the tongue of the shoe was stiff and high, digging into the top of the foot making it too uncomfortable. We didn't purchase the shoe because of that.

My doctor advised that I get extra depth shoes because i suffer from gout and very stiff big toe joint. He suggested I get the above mentioned shoe. I wear a sice 10. He said get extra depth. What do you suggest for me in a moderate price range under $115.00?

These shoes are wonderful! This is the second pair that I have purchased for one of my residents and they fix ewll, true to sise, well made and last forever!
Advantages: Can be worn on diabetics that had had foot surgery.
Disadvantages: none

I have several foot problems that make it very difficult to find comfortable shoes.... bunions, Morton’s neuroma etc.
Advantages: These shoes had the length, width and large enough toe-box to comfortably accommodate my feet. The velcro strap across the top enabled me to tighten them so that I didn’t walk out of the shoes.
Disadvantages: I don’t love the cloth like front part of the shoe, but it may allow a little stretch.

I'm on my feet for work and this is one of the few shoes that is easy to put on, has a wide toe box, and can last for the long haul. I only took a star off because it's frankly not a very good-looking shoe! It is durable but not stylish. That may or may not matter to some.
Advantages: Comfortable
Wide toe box
Easy to put on
True to size
Disadvantages: Function over style
