Product reviews: Ovation Air Walker Short and Tall Boot Generation 2

I love this boot! It fits great and is really very comfortable and easy to manage. I also had the best customer service experience with the Orthotic Shop! Have recommended it and would definitely shop here again.

superior design The boot I got from my podiatrist for a metatarsal stress fracture was heavy, clunky, and cumbersome. Turns out according to a different MD that it was too big for my foot. I caused my other foot to deteriorate from my year's rehab for plantar fasciitis. So, to the internet I went and came across this Ovation boot advertised to be lighter and move better. It was delivered when promised and what a huge difference it made. Within the first day of wearing it, my other foot was much happier. I walked smoother and maneuvered better. It also is much easier to put on with better placed Velcro straps. I believe it made my last week in a boot the most healing week. Just wish I had started out wearing it. I plan to tell my podiatrist's office to consider using the Ovation brand for other patient's benefit. Will also recommend they do a better job sizing boots to patients. The Orthotic shop sizing chart was spot on. I had less than an inch of boot beyond my toes where as I had 3+ inches with the podiatris

Ovation air walker Fit is okay but the straps are clumsy. Doesn't feel as secure as the other boot I had.

Not bad; my 1st one My foot felt worlds better immediately upon wearing this boot! However, it's been a couple weeks now, and the inner "good" boot is already stretched, and the Velcro appears not to be "as strong" as it was at first. Overall, probably one of the best investments I ever made. I would suggest in the future, maybe have the straps fixed instead of having 1 come off while the others are attached by thin thread...

Light and comfortable I have used several cam walkers over the last 15 years. This is by far the lightest and most mobile of them all. The curved bottom makes it so easy to walk

Good fit I wear size 14 shoes and the XL worked great. I'd definitely recommend this walking boot

Tall boot feels great Using boot as recommended by my podiatrist to heal my Achilles tendon tear. Easy to get around and now after 2 weeks I sense the tendon is healing. Should have got this sooner

Sizing on these was disappointing. Initially I ordered a medium which was listed as the proper size for my foot based on shoe size (9), but the platform extended inches beyond my toe. It was uncomfortable and I was afraid I would end up tripping on it. I exchanged it for a small, and the platform on the small didn't extend far enough to protect my toe. Had to return. Other than that, the quality of the boot seems really good! Service, returns and exchanges were all excellent though!

Works great! I have to keep a walker boot on hand because I constantly have foot issues. The Ovation boot is easy to walk in. I am on my feet over 12 hours a day and this boot makes it easier to make it through the day when I have injured my foot.

I love this Gen 2 tall walking boot! I have a torn peroneal tendon with subluxation.
The orthopedic surgeon put me in a Don Joy MaxTrax walking boot. It was terrible! It made my heel hurt, was heavy & clumsy, and did not help the subluxating of my tendon. I saw the Ovation Gen 2 tall boot and all the reviews. I ordered it with the thought nothing could be worse than the one the Dr. gave me. I love the Gen 2. It has been wonderful. I walk more normally...no heel problems and it supports my tendon SO much better! I would recommend it whole heartedly and would buy it again!

Good product Much cheaper than buying through insurance

I’ve used this and another surgeon boot from my surgeon. This is my favorite for stability and customization. I appreciate the support in the foot and the width underneath the foot.

This short boot was perfect for the ankle stability I needed in the later healing process of a broken fibula.

The Ovation air walker is just what I needed to protect the injury while allowing mobility to maintain physical condition, and some household chores.

So far great walking boot. I wear a 7.5 shoe in women and ordered a size small. Fits good. I had an ankle orif and had to use boot after sling. Work great.

The boot offers great support which is exactly what I needed. Thanks for a great product.

Hello, I have the same thing as you did. My ankle came out sideways after a botched surgery! Very upset! Do you think this boot would help me while trying to make my mind up on what Orthopedic to see to fix this mess? Thanks for any insite.

Did not work. Would not fit the calf because of thing to press for coution or whatever it is for. Had to return. Did not get full amount back from what I paid. Figured it is a restocking fee?
