Purchased for my elderly father. He is diabetic, has peripheral neuropathy, balance issues and foot drop. These shoes are great. very comfortable. Deep toe bed. High ankle for added support. Easy on and off without needing additional assistance!

Bought these for my grandson- he says he likes them and he is wearing them to work everyday. His only concern was that the area where the boot bends at the base of his toe might rub, but it has not been a problem.

Bought these to hike in and they do support my ankles from turning and stepping on rocks is not a problem.

Advantages: Hook and loop because I have one arm and wide enough and protect my ankles.

Disadvantages: Need waterproofing.i had to take the insert out to get proper size.
Apparently they're a D size with the inserts and EE workout but the sizing guidelines don't say that and is a little confusing.
