I have VERY wide, hard to fit feet - and these are a pretty good fit! They rub a little in one spot on the outside of my little toe (only one foot, my feet are weird, too! lol!) BUT I don't think it's anything that I can't fix with a little moleskin!

Advantages: After wearing hiking 'boots' for many years, I was pleasantly that the low cut is pretty comfortable for hiking. Rugged bottom for good grip on wet paths/trails

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage I found is that the two top hooks that hold the laces are SO tight I have to wrestle with them to get laces in and out, but not a big drawback.

These boots are just amazing. They are nice and wide and true to size. The workmanship on them is SO good. Haven't haven't seen this kind of integrity in workmanship in a long, long time. They will take a little breaking in but not much.

Advantages: WATER PROOF! Half size (12.5) with a 4E width which is my foot! No rub spots.

Disadvantages: Haven't found any so far! :O)

Received shoes quickly as you're known to do. Unfortunately, I'm away from home for a few weeks and won't be able to try on until I get back. But, wife says they look great.
