I love the shoes but unfortunately the strap is a bit too loose and there is no way to tighten it further. I think the only thing I can do is put some kind of foam type backing on the inside of the strap to tighten it. I haven't tried this yet but hopefully I can find something that will work.
Advantages: Comfort. I had toe surgery on my little toe and can't wear a normal shoe which pushes against the outside of my toe.
Disadvantages: These sandals work well for me due to my toe surgery with the exception of the strap being too loose.
