Shoes work great with AFOs I always get the same shoes for my son who has very difficult feet and very bulky AFOs. These shoes work best for him and last forever. The service and the coupon at Orthotic Shop made it easy to order them, too.

I wear a Phat Brace which surrounds the entire foot. This makes getting the brace into a shoe difficult. The Comfort Walking Shoe opens very wide making this chore easy. The comfort and especially the stability of the shoe is great making walking much easier and less tiring. As usual Answer 2 makes great products.

Very pleased with the fit of this shoe. My stepson wears very bulky braces that were nearly impossible to get his shoes over. The Answer2 shoe fits much more easily.
Advantages: Shoe is deep enough to accompdate very bulky braces, and the velcro straps are much more easily fastened than laces.
Disadvantages: Due to the size of the orthotic braces, the top strap is only able to be fastened using approximately 1 inch of the velcro. I will likely need to take them to a cobbler to have the top strap velcro modified.
