Product Description

This orthotic has features a metatarsal pad and is ideal for people with Morton's Neuroma. The metatarsal pad helps lift and seperate the metatarsal heads & phalangeal bases (toes) so the nerve doesn't get pinched.

Do you have Morton's Neuroma?

The best treatment, aside from surgery, is to do something to spread out the metatarsal heads, so the interdigitial nerves are not squeezed. This is best accomplished by orthotics with metatarsal support or pad. The metatarsal pad helps lift and seperate the metatarsal heads & phalangeal bases (toes) so the nerve doesn't get pinched.

Order Fulfillment Process / Delivery Time

  1. You order the orthotics.
  2. We ship you the materials to create an impression of your foot (instructions, impression kit, questionnaire, return shipping label).
  3. You fill out the questionnaire and follow the instructions to create impressions of your feet.
  4. Make a trace of your shoe's insoles, old orthotics, or foot on the back of the questionnaire so can determine the length and width for your new pair.
  5. You seal the impression kit with provided shipping tape & affix the provided return postage label to the box.
  6. You then hand the impression kit to your local postman or post office.
  7. We receive the impression of your feet.
  8. The orthotics lab creates the finished orthotics.
  9. Finally, the orthotics are shipped to you.

Delivery of orthotics usually takes 10-14 days after getting the foam impression kit back from you. Shipping is ~$12.95 for Continental US.

Orthotic Material

The insole is individually machined out of specially tailored densities of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. This material is commonly used in the mid-soles of athletic shoes. It is comfortable and very resistant to breakdown. We top off this foundation with a variety of topping materials, see picture and table below. Each finished insole is hand sanded to fit into the desired shoe.

Use / Types of Shoes

You can use in all type of activities after fully broken in, which usually takes about 2 weeks.

Any shoe with a removable insole will work just fine. Please remove the original insole and replace it with the finished orthotic. Some shoes without removable insole will work as well. This device can be used in a shoe without a removable insole.

The things to be aware of for shoe without a removable insole are:

  • The interior of the shoe should be relatively flat.
  • The orthotic you order should be 3/4 length.
  • The design of the shoe should be such that it does not deform the finished insole. A good example of this would be a high heel pump with a dramatic curve to the arch. This will deform the finished insole and not be comfortable.

Foot Sizes

The impression kit accommodates feet up to 13.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide.

We're not happy. We need more transparency in the process. That transparency will lead to a better, faster product. We ordered the orthodics and received our foam molds. We made the impressions, but the order form is woefully inadequate in its information. We called customer service, and they had no idea how to answer basic questions about material, durometer, thickness, etc. They then gave us the lab in CA phone number and we followed up with them. The the lab was very informative and they understand feet. Following their lead, we were able to select the correct material that would yield the correct finished product. Then the process took an additional 2 weeks from there. When we finally got the orthotics, we found they were not shipped from CA, but rather from another location. In the end, the orthotics finally arrived, yet they don't fit the shoe. We traced the existing insole out of the Brooks running shoes and even sent the 1/2 pair of insoles. Yet, whoever cut the shape screwed the whole thing up. USELESS. Super frustrated.....

Advantages: 25% of the cost of Pediatrist. More control over the end product assuming the process is followed.

Disadvantages: In-house customer service needs some basic footwear training.

Please with service and quick delivery. The orthotics felt good. I do think that the material was not as good as my previous purchase a year ago. I recommend this company.

I have just received my custom orthotics and am currently evaluating them. The first day was satisfactory, and I hope to continue to feel the same about them. They do feel different from the previous orthotics I've used (also custom).

Advantages: A lot cheaper than those I got from a podiatrist.

Disadvantages: none yet.

A great option for those who need extra special support and insurance won't pay for them. Check with your podiatrist to choose the perfect options for you, I forgot to do that but she said l made some good choices. A little long so l had to trim, hard for my arthritic hands. They feel great! I just have strange feet and would still like a better fit in a terrific shoe which does not seem to be an option for me, YET. I am always on the hunt for a perfect fit that doesn't cause extra pain.
