BEST BOOT EVER!!! I'M A BIG GUY AND THEY PROVIDE GREAT SUPPORT AND ARE VERY CONFORTABLE. I'VE HAD FOOT SURGERY, HAVE HAMMER-TOES, INSULIN DEP. TYPE 2 DIABETES, AND DIABETIC NEUROPATHY IN MY FEET AND TOES. I HAVE BEEN PURCHASING THESE BOOTS FOR YEARS. THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. THE BOXER DOG BRAND HAS A TOE BOX THAT IS THE ONLY ONE, I'VE FOUND, THAT DOESN'T RUB ON MY HAMMER-TOES CAUSING IRRITATION THAT ENDS UP CAUSING CELLULITIS IN MY RIGHT LEG. I HOPE BOXER DOG CONTINUES TO STAY IN BUSINESS FOR ALL WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS RE: FOOTWEAR, AS I DO. THE QUALITY IS SUPERB. YOU CAN REMOVE THE INSERT TO PUT IN YOUR OWN CUSTOM ORTHOTICS, IF NEED BE. I JUST "LOVE" THESE BOXER DOG BOOTS!!!

Advantages: Size: Runs True to Size.
Shoe Width: Runs True to Size.
Would buy again.

I had high hopes for these shoes. I have wide feet and a high instep. I needed everything these boots say they have. I work security and I need a good fitting boot and I need comfort. I walk a lot and I stand, up to eight hours a shift.

Advantages: wide enough.

Disadvantages: very uncomfortable. I had to order heel lifts that cost me another $48.00 because the arch in the shoes was cutting in to my foot causing unbearable pain. I have been trying different insoles and the lifts to try and make these boots work. to date nothing is working. they are painful to wear. I cant tell you how disappointed I am with these boots. I don't recommend them to anybody. I wish I returned them before I wore them but I had no way to tell how bad they were until I wore them. I would hope the company would be decent enough and allow a full refund return, but I doubt that will happen.

I have been wearing these boots for about a week and they are the most comfortable boot/shoe I have ever owned. I have extreme bunions on both feet and also hammer toes and finding foot wear that I can actually wear and feel good in is nearly impossible. So far these boots have really worked for me and are actually wide enough for my feet. Thank you so much for selling products for people with poor feet. I will definately be a long time customer.

Advantages: Fit well and only took a couple of hours to break in.

Disadvantages: None yet.

I'm a Crossing Guard and do a lot of walking mainly in the street. Diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy in 2004, I've been wearing brands like Propet and New Balance which were referred by my Podiatrist. I wear thick orthotics that are made to fit my feet only, so I need a sturdy boot or shoe. Working weekdays since September 1st, 2017, I've now been diagnosed with bone spurs on the outside of both feet thanks to the shoes I purchased else where. Also with bad knees since the 1990's, I've had arthroscopic surgery and heavy boots make the pain to reoccur.

Advantages: My Podiatrist said I needed wider shoes and he referred the Orthotic Shop. Since winter weather still surrounded me daily, I needed boots. Best boots I've purchased from any online shoe shop, they are true to the size. Love the inside leather cover which keep my bone spurs away from the side stitches that my other boots don't have. These boots are not heavy like my insulated winter boots, so my knees feel great, Best pair of Boots I've ever owned, thanks to the Orthotic Shop. The Propet and New Balance shoes don't even last me 6 months, the flat base of the shoes are not a great quality orthotic shoe. These Mt.Emey 9951's have the sole and heal separate with the steel arch support make my feet feel great.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage I've had with these boots is they need a thicker boot (shoe) string. Since, I'm 6'6" and over 300 lbs., I need to tighten them as securely as possible and the small boots strings weren't matched correctly with these.
That's the only disadvantage !

I got a pair of these, probably 5-6 years ago. They've been TERRIFIC! After such a long time, replacing insoles was necessary. I'm having to get a new pair now, since they've just simply worn out.

Overall, I recall I, personally, had a period of time I needed to break them in, but once I did, absolutely no complaints. They've done well in rain, mud, snow and ice for at least 5 years.

Advantages: Comfortable.
Perfect ankle height - not a high-top but not a low-top either.
Keeps feet protected and dry in virtually all types of weather.
DURABLE!

Disadvantages: I had a window of a number of days trying to break these in. I almost wanted to send them back, but one day, they just started feeling fine and, here we are, 5 years later.

Some ppl have said they fit perfectly right out of the box.

Everybody is different, so there's no telling. However, if you get them and you're not sure, give them a few days. If you end up having to break them in, it'll be worth it in the long run.
