These are excellent shoes for those with foot problems, diabetes, plantar fascia,"flat" feet, etc. Combine with a good brand of insoles, or custom orthotic insoles, and you will feel like your legs & feet are 20 years younger!
I went through many brands and types of shoes before finding the Dunham "Windsor".

Advantages: Taller toe box prevents injury for diabetics and provides a comfortable "swelling" space within the leather uppers.
Getting wide enough shoes is difficult - but these come in several extra and extra-extra wide sizes

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage I see is the finish on the shoes. The "pebbled" look is not a bad thing - but it is problematic in a duty shoe.
Would be nice to have a "smooth" finish to the leather uppers as an option for postal, police, fire, services to wear on duty.
