Love the shoes. Have been wearing this brand for years, but could not find them locally because Instride has discontinued them.

The shoes were very uncomfortable. I thought as much money I paid for them, they would at least be comfortable! I am very disappointed!

I love my instride Newport Strap Womens Leather Orthpedic shoes they fit great and very compfortable. And very good looking.....I now have two pairs and I know I will enjpy them...........

These shoes work great for my feet. I take out the top layer of the foot bed that came with them and replace it with my own 3/4 length insole because I need all the space I can get in the toe area.

Advantages: Good toe room. Very easy to fasten using only one hand. So comfortable they don't need breaking in when first put on.

Disadvantages: The only negative is the thinness of the leather. If you have a job where you have to work on the floor and the toes, for instance, are slightly rubbing on the floor the leather comes off very quickly. What's left is a grayish appearance.
