I have to alter every pair of shoes I buy. But your Mt.Emey required the least of any including Dr.Comfort. The D ring could be a bit larger....or the closure tab a bit narrower but I'm sure it will break in after a time.

Advantages: Size is just right for me. Most Comfortable shoe I've tried.

Disadvantages: The as shipped opening in the top of the shoe could be imroved by altering the stitching at the side bottoms of the opening.
