Comfortable sandals easy to adjust to your individual foot size. I like the ankle strap it makes it easier going up and down stairs keeping the sandal properly on your feet. I have found traditional sandals difficult to keep on my feet going up and down stairs. I would highly recommend these shoes or someone acquiring very stable footwear but yet still wanting to wear sandals.
Advantages: Comfortable enough to wear everyday. I found it easy to drive and do up to medium distance walking.
Disadvantages: Two leather straps on the top of the foot in one strap goes around the ankle. Slightly more wrapping around the foot and most people like in their sandals.
I would not recommend these sandals for long-distance hikes.
