These are excellent depth shoes for diabetics.
Advantages: Removable foot pads allow space for custom orthotic inserts without causing the upper to rub on the toes.
Disadvantages: Because the hook and loop closures are stitched right on the edges of the strap, the hook side can be scratchy. It would be better to very slightly recess the closures to prevent that rubbing.
