I recently was in the market for a new pair of work boots I heard from a friend of mine that I work with that cats were a solid boot and he has had his for going on two years and he has only had to replace the insoles two times in the two years he has had them which would make sense if you where your boots 8+ hours everyday anyway I have owned $300 dollar Chippewas thorogoods and redwings and none compare to lasting that long so I went out to look at these cat boots at Dunham's I tried on the excavators which were definitely really comfortable but they just didn't seem high enough so I continued to look around and found the Alaska 2.0 8in and tried it on they were by far the most comfortable boot I have ever put on right out of the box I instantly said these are the ones I was completely shocked that when I got to the register that they were only $110 I put them on once I got outside the car and wore them to work the same day it's almost like they didn't need worn in it's going on 2 weeks now that I've had them and I am still very pleased with the overall comfortability and durability

Advantages: 8in
Steel toe
Waterproof
Comfortable
Good support

Disadvantages: The only thing I am not quite sure about is that the lace clips move they're supposed to but I just don't know how I feel about it
