he pair of sneakers I bought, which are 9E (and sadly made in China), do look larger than they feel once they are on the foot. However, the sole of the shoe is hard and rugged, making for a confident grip that's stable and solid while walking.

The inside of the shoe is soft and caressing at all times, with enough space indeed, to insert an orthotic, if needed, without having to remove anything.

The shoe strings are easy to lace and do not slip out.

Altogether, this is an extremely comfortable pair of sneakers, especially for sensitive, achy feet since they support the foot in every way to avoid any discomfort.

I bought this footwear 1/2-inch larger than I usually wear just to ensure a proper fit since I was told black shoes, no matter if they're 9E or not, tend to be more narrow due to the dyes used in making them. I was not disappointed.

Once again, well fitting shoes. Just a tad narrower in the toe box than the last shoes I bought from Mt Emey but still ample.

My 19 year old son really likes these shoes and says that they are "cool". He wears standing AFOs which measure 11 inches long toe to heel with the foot in them. We bought size 11 X-Wide and they fit perfectly over his feet with the the AFOs on. The AFOs slide easily into these shoes and tie easily around the top of the AFOs. We took the 3 layers of insoles out of them so they are plenty deep enough. The quality of these shoes is also very good. Overall, we really like these shoes and like the way they function and look. Great purchase!

So far, so good. They fit well with my orthotics, and seem to have good cushioning.
